Polonne.
The Monastery of St. Ann.
This town is mentioned in the Russian chronicles in XII century. Polonne has its own church with its patron St. Ann. It was built in 1607 thanked to the prince Stanislav Lybomirski.Franciscans worked there from 1984. The monastery in Polonne was confirmed in 1993, 6 of April. Franciscans, except of Polonne, take care about Burtyn, Poninka, Chernijivka, Novoselitsa.
Chechelnic.
The Prince Stanislav Lybomirski built in Chechelnic in 1751 big church of St. Joseph. The copy of icon of the Blessed Virgin of Chenstochova is situate there. It is famous for its wonders on Podillia. During the communistical regime the church wasn’t used on the right destination.
The government gave the church to Catholics in 1990, 27 Augast. During some years the priest Martin Dazhytski came to Chechelnic from Gorodkivka. From 1988 the priest John Duklan Pavluk lived there. Thanked to him beginning of building of church and the monastery began. In 1991 the priest Maximilian Zhydovski was the controlled of the building. After the confirming of the monastery in 1992, 20 June he was the urgent of it.
In 1993 the icon of the Blessed Virgin of Chenstochova was restored in Poland. In 1993 it was holied in the Rome by John Paul II.
The restoration of the church is not ended.
Shargorod.
The Monastery of St. Florian.
According to the chronicles the town was found in XVI. His Foundatior was hetman John Zamoiski, who in 1595 bay a foundation of the monastery. The church was holied in 1636 by the bishop Paul Volutski.
In 1648 the Cossacks destroyed the monastery and the town. And only in 1717 the church was restored.
There are 3 thousands of Catholics there.
From 1983 the urgent of the monastery was the priest Albert Jurovski. Thanked to him the churches in Plebanivka, Koslovka, Rozkosh and Politanka were built.
