The Catastrophe
In September, 1997, was an earthquake, which destroyed the upper church of the Basilica of St. Francis. The ceiling was destroyed, the wall. It also destroyed a lot of frescoes. Remained whole fragments were restorated.

The lines from the text on the picture were taken from the hymns or from the prayers of St. Francis. Read them. Francis wrote them, looking at the environment. He found the hand of the God in everything.
